StarTec - TopX Level 2
First Course/ Boat
Students learn how to integrate mechanical structures like the hull and motors with electronic circuits and control systems, using Arduino or similar controllers to operate the boat through a remote control.
1 Month - 100 point
Second Course/ ROV
Students explore concepts such as buoyancy, waterproofing, motor control, and sensor integration, while using Arduino or similar controllers to operate the ROV. They learn how to design, build, and control a Remotely Operated Vehicle capable of moving and performing tasks underwater.
2 Month - 200 point
Third Course/ Drone
Students learn the principles of aerodynamics, motor control, and sensor integration to stabilize and navigate the drone. Using Arduino or similar controllers, students practice programming flight movements, obstacle avoidance, and remote-control operation.
2 Month - 200 point
Fourth Course/ Rover
Students learn how to build a mobile robot capable of navigating different terrains, avoiding obstacles, and performing specific tasks. They explore key concepts such as motor control, sensor integration, and remote or autonomous navigation using Arduino or similar controllers.
3 Month - 300 point
Fifth Course/ Game and App Development using MIT app inventor
Students learn how to create interactive apps and games by using block-based programming, focusing on essential concepts like user interfaces, buttons, screens, and logic controls. They will design and build real mobile apps that can run on Android devices, helping them understand how software connects to the real world.
3 Month - 300 point
